How does featured ad work?
You have seen featured ads in our site; many people have question how it works and how to make their ad as featured.
Once you become a paid/premium user, your ads are automatically eligible to be shown as “Featured Ad” in the top of the list. We get all ads posted by our premium users, sort it by number of views in ascending order and show the top 5 in the selected browsing category. This gives equal opportunity for all premium users’ ads.
So if you are in browse of all ads with the link http://www.rentinsingapore.com/browse/all/all/all?page=1 this gets ALL ads from all premium users and shows the 5.
Now if you are browsing for common rooms available for rent in Yishun with this link http://www.rentinsingapore.com/browse/Available/Common%20Room/Yishun?page=1 then this gets all ads only for available common rooms in Yishun posted by premium users and shows the 5 sorted by number of views.
